I arrived at 11am at “Hotel Vall d’en Bas”, our meeting point, 3 km away from the “Casa de Colonies”. Located in Joanetes, 11 km from Olot, Garrotxa Volcanic Zone Natural Park.
It is impossible to go until the site with my Mini. The last 1.200 meters, is a small stream bed, transformed in a path, with large stones, deep ruts.
I met Padre Stefan and Simon on the parking lot. The sun is shining, it is even warm, we went for a coffee, sitting on the the terrace of the hotel. After an hour, we have transferred all the boxes and bags, from the Mini to the SUV.
Well, I followed the SUV, and arrived at the last part of my journey.
Moving slowly, from one side to the other of the path, avoiding pitfalls, driving uphill, hit two times very hard…
Finally, I arrived on the site. Safe.
