Will this character, Jesus, born in year 0 BC, will he participate?

During my time in Blanes, Spain, I wanted to create a famous play : Barabas, from Michel de Ghelderode (Belgian writer).

Barabas was the one whom Pontius Pilate released in place of Jesus when the Jews present at the trial demanded it. It is often played in the Brussels Puppet theatre “Chez Toone”.

So, I started some first drawings of Barabas.

The main idea was to cut the head at the eyes level. And then put the eyes between.

On the next I tried a new Barabas with eyes and Jesus.

And I added also the Crown of thorns, between the head and hair.
